Did you ever get the feeling that someone was watching you?  Well, that isn't paranoia: the fact is that people are watching you all the time.   Your spouse, your children, your boss, complete strangers and countless others are watching you all the time.

What do they see?  I believe that most of us would have to admit that we don't always set the best of examples: we do and say things that we should not.  That is to be expected.  We are human...more than that, we are sinners.

That does not mean that we should be happy with sub-par behavior.  As servants of Jesus Christ we are called to live in a way that rises above the behavior of lost humanity.  We are supposed to be different.

The Apostle Paul wrote these words of encouragement to his young friend Timothy.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)

Whether we are young Christians or old, we should try to be the best example of what a believer should be.  After all....people are watching.
